BendLay flexible filament for functional prints

Lay Filaments BendLay Flex is a modified butadiene filament supplied on a 0.75 kg spool with 1.75 mm diameter and ± 0.1 mm tolerance. It prints between 220 and 245 degC and achieves a shore hardness of 96A, making it flexible but not soft. The material is extremely translucent for nearly clear parts and avoids stress whitening when bent. High interlayer adhesion and low moisture absorption reduce warping compared to ABS.

Suited for watertight containers and wearable parts

Makers who need bendable, watertight objects such as thin bottles, cups, squeezable toys, straps or shoe soles will benefit from the flexibility and clarity. The filament is also safe for household, food and medical contact. Users who require a rigid structural material or a softer, rubber-like feel should look at something else, as this formulation sits between those extremes.

Handles thin-walled vessels and repeated flexing

The shore 96A hardness and strong layer bonding let printed parts survive repeated bending and hold liquids without leaking. Moisture resistance keeps dimensional stability over long prints. Very large solid models may exceed the 0.75 kg spool capacity, and the 220 to 245 degC window demands a hot-end that can reach the upper end reliably.
