Four ranks of 2Rx4 density deliver 256GB total, giving ample headroom for large datasets, virtualisation and in-memory databases. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing the full population of slots at rated speed. Workloads that exceed 256GB or require lower latency than CL40 will need a different configuration.

Registered ECC RDIMM form factor with 1.1V operation

The 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM interface and registered ECC design are the single specification that determines compatibility; only systems that accept DDR5 registered ECC modules can use this kit. It operates at 1.1V standard voltage and carries the PC5-38400 speed rating. Desktop boards or platforms requiring unbuffered memory cannot accept these modules.
