It targets IT teams who need maximum registered capacity in a validated configuration. The modules run at 1.1V with CL40 latency and use major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix.

Install in matched sets and verify firmware

Installation follows standard RDIMM procedure: power down, open the chassis, populate the indicated slots in the order the server manual specifies, then power on. The most common issue is mixing ranks or speeds across channels, which prevents the system from posting. Because these are 4Rx4 modules, all four must be installed together in the correct bank layout for the memory controller to initialise properly.

Confirm slot count and maximum registered capacity

Before ordering, check that your Thinkmate platform supports 4Rx4 registered DIMMs at 4800 MT/s and that the memory controller can address 512GB across the available 288-pin slots. Verify the BIOS version meets the vendor’s minimum for this density and rank configuration. Systems limited to lower rank counts or unbuffered memory will not accept this kit.
