Consumer motherboards and unbuffered-only chipsets cannot use these sticks. The 288-pin form factor fits DDR4 RDIMM slots only; it will not seat in DDR5 or UDIMM sockets. Buyers needing unbuffered or non-ECC memory must choose a different kit.

4Rx4 Density Decides Fit

The 4Rx4 rank architecture is the single specification that determines whether this kit works in the ThinkMate XF4-24S3. The system memory controller must explicitly support 4Rx4 registered modules at 3200 MT/s. If the platform only qualifies 2Rx4 or 2Rx8 ranks, these DIMMs will not post.
