The kit is intended for servers that require registered error-correcting memory in a 288-pin form factor. It is not for systems that accept only unbuffered UDIMMs or SODIMMs.
DDR4 3200 sets the maximum data rate at 3200 MT/s with a PC4-25600 bandwidth ceiling. Registered buffering allows full-slot populations without overloading the memory controller, but the motherboard dictates the exact population order and maximum capacity per channel.
