The NZXT RF-U28HF-B1 is a 280mm single-frame case fan unit containing two 140mm fans with RGB illumination. It connects via an 8-pin cable that carries both PWM and 5V RGB signals. Fluid dynamic bearings and a Zero RPM mode keep noise low when cooling demand drops. The black frame measures 280 by 140 by 26mm.
Builders fitting a 280mm radiator or a front-panel slot that accepts a 280mm frame will find the integrated design simple to install. The package includes a 300mm PWM cable and a 100mm RGB splitter for motherboard connection. It is not for systems that require separate fan positioning or cases without a 280mm mounting pattern. Control via CAM software needs an NZXT RGB & Fan Controller sold separately.
Each fan delivers 98.61 CFM and 3.2 mm H2O static pressure at a maximum of 2000 RPM, with noise rated at 34.5 dBA. The 500 to 2000 RPM range lets the unit scale from silent idle to high airflow under load. If your cooling target needs more airflow or higher static pressure than these figures provide, consider a different solution.
