This 1 TB mSATA drive fits laptops, ultrabooks and desktops that still use the mSATA slot. It is based on 3D NAND flash and connects through a SATA 3.0 interface. The form factor is smaller than a 2.5 inch SATA SSD, so it suits compact devices where space is limited.
Sustained throughput on SATA 3.0
Sequential reads reach up to 490 MBps and sequential writes up to 500 MBps over the SATA III 6 Gbps link. Because the drive has no moving parts, it maintains those rates without the latency spikes seen on mechanical disks. mSATA form factor decides fit
The drive uses the mSATA connector, not M.2 2242 SATA and not NVMe. Verify that your system board has a true mSATA slot before buying; an M.2 key-M or key-B slot will not accept this module. Compatibility is the single specification that determines whether the upgrade works.
