ECC Registered DDR4 Kit for HP Synergy

This 128GB kit contains two 64GB registered DIMMs built for HP Synergy 480 Gen10 and 660 Gen10 servers. Each module runs at DDR4 2933 with CL21 latency at 1.2V. The ECC registered design targets workstation and server workloads that require error correction and signal buffering. It is not compatible with standard desktop platforms or with unbuffered and load-reduced memory types.

JEDEC DDR4 2933 Speed and Backward Compatibility

The modules operate at PC4-23400 2933MHz under JEDEC specifications. They also support backward compatibility at 2133MHz, 2400MHz and 2666MHz speeds when the platform requires it. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of latency compared with unbuffered DIMMs, which is normal for this class of memory. Mixing with unbuffered or load-reduced modules is not supported by the memory controller.

288-Pin RDIMM Build Without Heat Spreaders

Each 288-pin DIMM uses a 2Rx4 organisation and omits a heat spreader to fit dense server slots. The registered design reduces electrical load on the memory bus for stable operation in multi-DIMM configurations. Installation follows standard RDIMM keying for the compatible Synergy blades. Buyers needing unbuffered ECC or load-reduced DIMMs for other platforms should select a different kit.
