This 128GB DDR4 2400 CL17 module is built for servers, workstations and NAS systems that require ECC load-reduced memory. It operates at 1.2V using a 288-pin form factor with an 8Rx4 rank configuration. The module is designed for environments where data integrity and high capacity per slot are essential.
The module installs in 288-pin DDR4 slots that support load-reduced ECC DIMMs. It cannot be mixed with unbuffered or standard registered ECC memory. Backward compatibility with 2133MHz systems allows deployment in older platforms without configuration changes. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the DIMM rows must be adequate.
This unit replaces Fujitsu part numbers ending in L517, L617, E617 and E517. The jump is worthwhile when a server needs the maximum 128GB per DIMM to reduce slot count or when existing modules have failed. It is not for desktop PCs, consumer laptops or any system that does not explicitly support DDR4 ECC load-reduced memory.

The module has no heat spreader and runs at 1.2V, so sustained throughput is limited by the platform's airflow and DIMM-slot cooling rather than an on-module throttle.
At 1.2V the module draws roughly 10–12 watts; it adds no moving parts, so any extra noise comes only from chassis fans reacting to the added heat load.
The board needs DDR4 slots wired for load-reduced ECC, a memory controller that accepts 8Rx4 ranks, and BIOS/firmware that enables PC4-19200 (or 2133 MHz fallback) operation.
