Server-Specific ECC LRDIMM Upgrade

This 128GB DDR4 module targets Cisco UCS B200 M6, C125 M5, C220 M6, C240 M6 and C245 M6 servers. It delivers ECC load-reduced operation at 3200MHz CL22 for workloads that demand high capacity and error correction. The single DIMM replaces Cisco part numbers UCSML128G4RW and UCSXML128G4RW. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered and registered ECC memory.

Keyed 288-Pin Installation

The module fits the 288-pin DDR4 slots in the listed Cisco UCS chassis and seats like any standard DIMM. The critical step is confirming the platform requires load-reduced ECC; mixing with unbuffered or registered ECC DIMMs will prevent boot. No heat spreader is present, so airflow across the slot area should remain unobstructed. Backward compatibility with 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz and 2933MHz buses is supported.

128GB Single-Module Capacity

One stick provides 128GB at 1.2V, allowing dense population of available slots in the supported Cisco UCS models. The 4Rx4 organisation and CL22 latency suit virtualisation, database and analytics workloads that benefit from large memory footprints. Headroom ends when the platform’s maximum DIMM count or total memory limit is reached, or when workloads require registered rather than load-reduced ECC.
