This 16 GB DDR4 SODIMM is built for the Synology DiskStation DS1621+ and DS1621xs+. It delivers ECC protection for data integrity in NAS workloads. The unbuffered design keeps latency low for responsive file serving and virtualization tasks.

JEDEC standard 260-pin module

The stick follows JEDEC PC4-21300 timing at CL19 and runs at 1.2 V. No heat spreader is fitted, so it fits tight NAS chassis without clearance issues. Backward compatibility lets it clock down to 2400 MHz or 2133 MHz if the system requires it.

Low-voltage ECC operation

At 1.2 V the module draws minimal power inside a sealed NAS enclosure. ECC circuitry corrects single-bit errors without adding audible noise. The 2Rx8 organisation provides density while keeping thermal output modest for continuous operation.
