36-channel Reolink NVR with dual PoE switches

The Reolink RLN36 is a 36-channel network video recorder built for Reolink IP cameras only. It manages up to 36 cameras simultaneously and supports resolutions up to 16MP per channel. Two PoE switches are included to extend camera coverage across larger sites without adding latency. The unit ships without hard drives.

Thermals noise and power draw

The recorder operates from a DC 12V 5.4A power supply and runs in ambient temperatures from -10°C to 45°C. Three internal SATA bays accept up to 16TB drives each for a total of 48TB capacity. With 36 cameras recording continuously at 6Mbps the storage lasts around 20 days. No embedded battery is present.

Build integration and expansion

Four gigabit RJ-45 ports handle IP camera traffic while a fifth serves LAN or WAN connectivity. Video outputs include one HDMI and one VGA port supporting resolutions such as 3840x2160 and 1920x1080. Audio in and out use RCA connectors. USB 2.0 on the front plus USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 on the rear allow backup and peripheral access. Eight alarm inputs and four outputs integrate with external sensors.
