This 64GB DDR4 module uses a load-reduced design with a 4Rx4 rank configuration to deliver high memory density in a single 288-pin slot. It targets servers and workstations running memory-intensive workloads such as virtualization and large-scale databases. The registered buffer and on-board ECC protect data integrity in continuous operation.
The module runs at the standard DDR4 3200 speed with a CL22 latency and a 1.2V operating voltage. Maximum throughput is limited by the memory controller and the number of populated channels on the host platform. Mixing ranks or exceeding the platform's rank-per-channel limit will reduce the effective data rate below the rated PC4-25600 specification.
The quad-rank 4Rx4 organization is the single specification that decides whether this part will function in a given system. The motherboard and CPU must explicitly support 4Rx4 LRDIMM populations to initialise the module at full capacity. Platforms limited to dual-rank or single-rank modules cannot use this memory.
