The StarTech SM2NGFFMBU33 converts a M.2 SATA solid-state drive into a bus-powered USB 3.0 external drive. It accepts common M.2 lengths of 30, 42, 60 and 80 mm and supports SATA I, II and III interfaces. The aluminium housing acts as a heatsink and fits in a pocket. UASP support on compatible hosts can raise transfer efficiency by up to 70 percent over standard USB 3.0.
