The Targus ASP48USX is a keyed security lock with a 6.0 foot galvanized steel cable and a Kensington T-Bar head. It attaches to the standard rectangular lock slot found on laptops, projectors and monitors. Two identical keys are supplied for primary and backup use. The lock body measures 80.00" x 1.65" x 0.68" and weighs 0.33 lb.

For portable devices with Kensington T-Bar slots

This lock suits offices, schools and hot-desk areas where a physical deterrent is required for equipment that has a compatible slot. It is not for devices that lack a Kensington T-Bar slot or for users who prefer a combination mechanism instead of a keyed cylinder. Integrates with optional anchors for fixed points

The cable loop can be secured around desk legs or through the PA400P base plate and ASPA28USZ cubicle anchor, both sold separately. This flexibility lets you create a tether point wherever the furniture allows. No tools are required for installation; the keyed cylinder engages the slot directly and the steel cable resists cutting attempts.
