High-capacity desktop RAID storage
The Western Digital My Book Duo provides 44TB of storage in a desktop form factor. It ships configured in RAID-0 for maximum capacity and throughput. The unit is formatted NTFS for immediate use with Windows systems. Hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption protects data with password control.
Connectivity and daily workflow
A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port links the drive to the host, with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A cable both included for broad compatibility. Two front-facing USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub ports allow additional peripherals to be connected through the enclosure. An AC adapter supplies power, and a disk replacement tool is provided for drive maintenance.

The enclosure uses a desktop chassis measuring 7.09" x 3.94" x 6.30" and weighs 5.80 lbs to house the dual-drive array. Passive and active cooling manage heat during sustained transfers over the 5Gbps interface. The external power brick keeps the unit running without drawing bus power from the host.
