Sustained throughput with PHISON E18 controller
Under continuous load the PHISON E18 controller manages data flow across the PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes to maintain sequential reads up to 7000 MBps and writes up to 5500 MBps. The integrated heatsink dissipates heat during extended transfers so performance remains stable rather than throttling after a short burst. 256-bit AES encryption secures data without reducing throughput.
PCIe 4.0 x4 lane limits and physical constraints
The four-lane PCIe 4.0 interface caps maximum bandwidth at the drive's rated 7000 MBps read and 5500 MBps write ceilings. The M.2 2280 dimensions and attached heatsink define the physical space required inside a laptop, desktop or PS5 console.
