Sustained imaging behaviour

The rolling-shutter sensor delivers 4056 × 3040 stills and maintains consistent exposure during long monitoring sessions. Motorised focus operates over I2C, allowing scripted autofocus or keyboard fine-tuning while the camera runs continuously in surveillance or printer-watch roles.

Pre-order checklist

Verify your carrier board exposes the camera I2C bus and matches the 14 × 18.67 mm module footprint.
