The ASUS Cobble is a new M.2 drive enclosure that accepts NVMe and SATA modules in 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. A USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x1 interface delivers up to 10Gbps transfer rates for Windows 11, macOS, PS5 and Xbox consoles. Tool-free Q-Latch and a screwless cover make installation take seconds.

The enclosure supports drives up to 4TB, giving ample space for game libraries, media projects or full system backups. USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x1 bandwidth caps sustained throughput around 10Gbps, so the fastest NVMe SSDs will hit the interface ceiling before the drive does.
