Dual 10GbE LAN and dual M.2 slots

Two Intel X710-AT2 controllers deliver 10 Gbps Ethernet with teaming support, while a dedicated management LAN enables out-of-band access. Both M.2 connectors accept 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 modules operating in either SATA or PCIe mode. An optional ASMB10-iKVM card adds KVM-over-IP through the ASPEED AST2600 controller.

PCIe lane sharing limits expansion flexibility

The primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot drops to x8 when the PCIe 4.0 x8 slot is populated, restricting simultaneous full-speed use of both Gen4 slots. Two additional PCIe 3.0 x8 slots run at x4 link width. HDMI 1.4 output functions only when a processor with integrated graphics is installed, otherwise the Aspeed AST2600 drives VGA for basic display.
