This bundle pairs an ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard with a Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor. The AM5 socket supports AMD Ryzen Desktop 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series CPUs. A BIOS update may be required for 9000 and 8000 Series chips. The board delivers dual-channel DDR5 memory support up to 256 GB and includes PCIe 5.0 M.2, 2.5 Gbps LAN and USB4 support.

128 MB L3 cache and DDR5 headroom

The CPU provides 128 MB of L3 cache and 12 MB of L2 cache on a 120 W TSMC 4 nm Zen 5 die. Memory runs at DDR5 4800 out of the box and scales through EXPO profiles up to DDR5 6400+(OC). Four 288-pin slots accept un-buffered modules with ECC capability. The primary M.2 slot operates at PCIe 5.0 x4 for the fastest drives, while the second runs at PCIe 4.0 x4.

Comprehensive cooling covers the VRM, the primary M.2 slot and the chipset with dedicated heatsinks. Hybrid fan headers and Fan Xpert 2+ software give per-header control. Rear I/O includes HDMI, DisplayPort, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and a USB BIOS FlashBack button that updates firmware without a CPU or memory installed. Onboard addressable Gen 2 and standard RGB headers sync with Aura Sync lighting gear.
