Sustained-load behaviour with active VRM cooling

A 10-layer PCB carries an 8+2 Dr. MOS power stage array fed by a ProCool II connector, alloy chokes and durable capacitors. An active VRM fan works with triple-decker heatsinks, an integrated I/O and MOS heatsink, an L-shape heat-pipe, a PCH heatsink and a skived-fin design to move heat away during extended sessions. The M.2 backplate adds another thermal path for the primary slot.

Mini-ITX install notes and common pitfalls

The 6.7 by 6.7 inch footprint fits mini-ITX cases, yet the tall VRM heatsink stack can clash with low-profile CPU coolers or bulky graphics-card backplates. Only 11th Gen CPUs activate the top M.2 slot in PCIe 4.0 x4 mode; with a 10th Gen chip that slot is disabled. Front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and Thunderbolt 4 headers need matching case connectors to function.
