It uses real-time AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption validated to FIPS PUB 197 and is certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 3. The drive works on any device with a USB port and requires no software installation.

The drive connects via USB 3.2 and is backward compatible with USB 3.1 and earlier versions. Maximum sequential read speed reaches 277MB/s and write speed reaches 271MB/s.
