Target Platform

This LORDWORLD AC8265 wireless module adds Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to the Jetson Nano B01 development board. It uses an Intel 8265AC chip on an NGFF M.2 interface with an IPEX antenna connector. The module is not compatible with the Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit. Supported operating systems include Linux and Windows 10, 8.1, 8 and 7.

Dual-Band Performance

The Intel 8265AC chip delivers 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. Maximum link rates reach 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. Actual throughput will vary with antenna quality, channel congestion and the host board's PCIe lane allocation.

Upgrade Path

This module replaces a missing or faulty wireless card on a Jetson Nano B01, adding both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in a single 22 mm × 30 mm × 2.4 mm M.2 card. The upgrade is worthwhile when the project requires wireless connectivity and the B01 carrier board provides a free M.2 slot with IPEX antenna headers. Builders using the 2GB Developer Kit must choose a different solution.
