The VinPower HDDSharkTB-8T-BK is a standalone hard drive duplicator that copies one master SATA drive to eight targets simultaneously. It operates without a host computer and supports FAT16, FAT32, extFAT, NTFS and ext2/3/4 file systems for broad OS compatibility.

Thermals noise and power

A dedicated cooling fan and an aluminium chassis with heat-conductive grooves keep drives within safe temperatures during sustained copy jobs. The unit draws up to 500 watts from a 90 to 240 volt supply, so normal office or lab power is sufficient.

Build fit and requirements

Eight SATA trays accept 1.5, 3.0 and 6.0 Gbps drives for flexible media support. A 128 megabyte buffer and 20 by 2 blue LCD provide status feedback during operation. An optional CF interface module adds CompactFlash capability when needed.
