The VinPower HDDSharkTB-2T-BK is a standalone hard drive duplicator that copies one source drive to two target drives simultaneously. It operates without a host computer and supports SATA drives at 1.5Gbps, 3.0Gbps and 6.0Gbps speeds. The unit includes 128M buffer memory and a 20 x 2 blue LCD for status feedback. It is suited for IT departments or service providers needing reliable sector-by-sector cloning.

Interface speed and file-system limits

Maximum sustained throughput reaches 150MB/sec across the SATA interface. The controller handles FAT16, FAT32, extFAT, NTFS and ext2/3/4 file systems, copying data regardless of the operating system on the source drive. Drives larger than the controller’s addressing range or using unsupported partition schemes will not clone correctly. The duplicator does not convert file systems or resize partitions during the copy process.

Verify that every drive you intend to use has a standard SATA data and power connector and fits the tray-load bays measuring 8.50" x 7.50" x 12.00". Confirm your source and target drives use one of the supported file systems listed above.
