This registered DDR4 module delivers 8 GB at 2666 MHz with CL19 timing and 1.20 V operation. It uses a 1Rx8 layout and major-brand chips on a 288-pin DIMM. The part replaces Dell 1VRGY, 370-ADNI and related service numbers for server and workstation memory upgrades.
Registered DDR4 DIMMs run at standard 1.20 V and produce minimal heat in typical server workloads. Passive cooling from chassis airflow is sufficient; no active fan is required on the module itself. Power draw stays low, keeping acoustic impact negligible in dense rack environments.
This module upgrades systems that currently run lower-capacity or non-ECC DDR4 memory and need registered ECC support for data integrity. Power off the server, open the chassis, align the notch on the 288-pin module with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then verify in BIOS that the 2666 MHz speed and ECC function are active.
No scheduled maintenance is required; keep air intakes clean so the 1.20 V modules stay cool, and replace only if memory diagnostics report correctable ECC errors that exceed the platform threshold.
The CL19 latency at 1.20 V sets the timing boundary; prolonged heavy traffic will hit the CAS latency ceiling before thermal or voltage limits are reached.
