The Acasis EC-5351 connects SAS and SATA hard drives or SSDs to a computer through a USB 3.0 interface. It accepts both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch form factors and supports drives larger than 16 TB. A 12 V/2 A power adapter and a USB-C to USB-A/C cable are included for immediate use.
Sustained transfer over USB 3.0 at 5 Gbps
The USB 3.0 link provides a 5 Gbps theoretical ceiling for continuous read and write sessions. The vertical, tool-free design keeps the drive seated securely during long copy jobs, while the external power supply delivers stable current to 3.5-inch mechanisms that draw more power than a bus-powered port can supply.
Replaces docks that lack SAS support
If your current dock only handles SATA or only fits one drive size, this enclosure adds SAS compatibility and accepts both heights in the same slot. The upgrade is worth it when you need to read enterprise SAS drives alongside regular SATA drives without swapping hardware.
