The AM5 socket supports Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors. The bundle delivers a 16+2+1, 80A SPS power design on an 8-layer PCB with ProCool connectors, alloy chokes and durable capacitors for stable delivery. ASUS AI Overclocking, AI Cooling II and AEMP simplify setup.

Memory and storage headroom

Four DDR5 slots accept up to 256GB of un-buffered memory at 4400 standard with EXPO and AEMP support; non-ECC modules gain on-die ECC. Two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots and two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots (all 2280) provide fast primary storage, while SATA 6 Gbps with RAID 0/1/5/10 adds capacity. RAID 5 requires a Ryzen 9000 CPU.
