Capacity and Headroom

The adapter supports drives up to 6 TB and delivers transfer rates up to 5 Gbps via USB 3.0 while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. Older IDE drives may require a jumper change and the 3.5 inch models need the included 4 pin power cable, so very large or unusual drives beyond the 6 TB limit will not work.
