The Axiom 816899-B21-AX is a 480 Gb enterprise SSD designed for latency-sensitive, mixed-use applications in 24/7 data-center environments. It uses 3-bit MLC V-NAND flash to deliver consistent IOPS and low latency for converged and virtualised architectures.
Hot-Swap SATA Installation
The 2.5 inch Sata 6Gb/s hot-swap form factor allows the drive to be inserted or removed without powering down the server, simplifying maintenance. Compatibility depends on the host system supporting hot-swap SATA bays; non-hot-swap backplanes or cabled installations will not take advantage of this feature.
