8 MP AI Turret Camera

The Axis Communications M3128-LVE is an 8 MP turret-style network camera built for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It captures 3840x2160 resolution video at up to 12 or 15 fps with a 110° horizontal field of view. A deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics on the edge to detect and classify people and vehicles. Axis Edge Vault hardware cybersecurity protects the device and stored data.

Upgrade From Basic Fixed Cameras

This model replaces fixed-lens cameras that lack analytics or low-light range. The jump is worth it when you need 8 MP detail, a 2.9 mm lens with 110° coverage, and OptimizedIR illumination reaching 20 m or 65 ft in darkness. WDR preserves detail in scenes with both bright and dark areas. AI metadata enables fast forensic search without sending video to a server for analysis.

PoE Turret For Wall Or Ceiling Mount

The camera mounts on walls or ceilings and requires a PoE switch or injector for power and data over a single cable. It supports microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC cards with AES-XTS-Plain64 256-bit encryption for local recording. Two-way audio uses Portcast technology for input and speaker pairing for output.
