4TB SATA replacement drive
This 4TB 3.5" SATA hard drive is a factory spare for Buffalo TeraStation 3010 and 5010 series NAS units. It fits the TS3210DN, TS3410DN, TS3410RN, TS5210DN, TS5410DN and TS5410RN models. The drive installs directly into the server chassis without adapters.
Capacity and headroom
Four terabytes provides room for large media libraries, backups and archive volumes in a single bay. The SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface supports sustained sequential transfers for streaming and bulk copy tasks. Random I/O performance will limit databases or virtual-machine workloads that demand high IOPS.
SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface
The drive uses a standard SATA 6.0 Gb/s connection and a 3.5" form factor measuring 1.2" high, 4.1" wide and 6.7" deep. It weighs approximately 1.87 lb. Compatibility is limited to the listed TeraStation servers; it is not validated for other enclosures or direct desktop use.

Spørgsmål om denne vare
Will this 4TB SATA drive work inside my existing TeraStation 3210DN without changing the backplane?
Yes, the drive is listed as compatible with the TS3210DN and uses the standard SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface that the unit expects.
How can I confirm the drive is recognised and healthy after installing it in the NAS?
Open the TeraStation web dashboard; the new 4TB volume should appear with a healthy status and the S.M.A.R.T. data will show zero reallocated sectors.
Does the box include mounting screws or a drive tray, or do I need to reuse the ones from my old drive?
The package contains only the bare 3.5" hard drive; you must reuse the existing tray and screws from the TeraStation bay.
