The BZBGEAR BG-BPTZ-10XU is a pan-tilt-zoom network camera built for huddle rooms and mid-size meeting spaces. It uses a 1/2.9 inch CMOS sensor to capture 1080p video at 30 frames per second. A 10x optical zoom lens lets distant participants fill the frame without digital cropping. USB 2.0 Type-A output provides plug-and-play compatibility with common conferencing platforms.

Quiet Operation and Low Power Draw

A step-drive motor mechanism keeps pan and tilt movements smooth and virtually silent during meetings. The camera pans across a range of -170° to +170° and tilts from -30° to +30° without audible distraction. Maximum power consumption is 2.5 watts at 12 volts and 0.25 amps, so it runs cool on a standard power adapter. Supported compression formats include H.264, H.265 and MJPEG for efficient streaming.

Upgrade from Fixed Webcams or 3x Zoom

This model replaces static webcams that cannot reframe participants automatically. It also supersedes the 3x optical zoom variant when the field of view must narrow to 66° for tighter shots across larger rooms. The jump is worthwhile when preset positioning and RS-232 cascading are needed for multi-camera control. Buyers who need a wider 85° field of view or 4K resolution should consider other models.
