32 MB PC100 SODIMM for Cisco 2600 routers
This 32 MB SODIMM module is built for Cisco 2610, 2611, 2612, 2613, 2620 and 2621 routers. It replaces part numbers MEM2600-32D and MEM2600-16U48D=. Network engineers upgrading legacy branch-office gear use it to reach the maximum memory those platforms accept.
PC100 SDRAM limits and 100-pin form factor
The module runs at PC100 speed with a 60 ns EDO timing and operates at 3.3 V. It is unbuffered, non-ECC and uses the 100-pin SODIMM keying required by the 2600 series. No higher-speed or registered variants are supported by these routers.
32 MB capacity fills the router slot
A single 32 MB stick occupies the sole memory socket on the supported models. This capacity meets the factory maximum for the 2610 through 2621 range. Routers needing more memory cannot use this platform.

Spørgsmål om denne vare
Should I choose the 32 MB module or the 16 MB and 48 MB options for my Cisco 2610?
The 32 MB SODIMM matches the MEM2600-32D part and fits the single slot in the 2610, 2611, 2612, 2613, 2620 and 2621 routers; the 16 MB and 48 MB variants are different part numbers for other memory configurations.
What does PC100 mean for actual router performance?
PC100 identifies the module as 100 MHz SDRAM with 60 ns access time; the router’s memory controller sets the real operating speed, so the module runs at the speed the Cisco 2600 series requires.
How does the 100-pin SODIMM interface limit what I can install?
The module uses a 100-pin SODIMM form factor that only fits the dedicated memory slot on Cisco 2600 series routers; it cannot be used in laptops or desktops that require 144-pin or 200-pin SODIMMs.
