The Dell PowerEdge R930 is a 4U rack server equipped with four Intel Xeon E7-8891 v4 processors, each running at 2.8 GHz with 10 cores and a 3.5 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 384 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across 48 DIMM slots. Memory scales to 12 TB across 96 slots

The platform supports up to 96 DDR4 DIMMs for a maximum of 12 TB, so the installed 384 GB uses only half the available slots.
