Dual Xeon E5-2650 v4 compute platform

The Dell PowerEdge T430 arrives as a 5U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 processors. Each CPU provides twelve cores running at 2.2 GHz with a 2.9 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 256 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across eight 32 GB modules. A PERC H330 controller manages up to sixteen 2.5-inch drive bays. This configuration targets virtualization hosts, database workloads and business-critical applications that need dual-socket performance and dense storage capacity.

Redundant 750 W platinum power supplies

Two hot-swap 750 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation. The 5U chassis accommodates the dual-processor thermal design with front-to-rear airflow. Integrated dual-port gigabit Ethernet handles network traffic while iDRAC 8 Express provides out-of-band remote management. The server supports optional rack conversion for flexible deployment in tower or rack environments.

Sixteen drive trays and PERC H330 RAID

Sixteen Dell 2.5-inch drive trays are included for immediate SAS or SATA drive installation. The PERC H330 controller enables hardware RAID across all bays without additional licensing. iDRAC 8 Express simplifies firmware updates, hardware monitoring and remote console access. The front bezel and ready rails are not supplied, so rack mounting hardware must be sourced separately. Maximum memory capacity reaches 384 GB across twelve DIMM slots.
