Suits single-socket deployments needing dense 1U

The chassis supports a second processor and up to 24 DIMM slots for expansion, but only one CPU and 4 GB of RAM are installed today. The B140i controller is limited to SATA drives and RAID 0, 1, 5, 10. Buyers who need hardware RAID, SAS connectivity or a larger memory footprint out of the box should look at other configurations.

B140i software RAID supports SATA only
