This 2.5 inch internal solid state drive uses a SAS interface to deliver mixed-use performance for enterprise servers. It is built for workloads such as big data analytics, cloud computing, high performance compute, database applications and virtualization.
800 GB capacity with 3 DWPD endurance
The drive provides 800 GB of storage rated for three drive writes per day, giving headroom for sustained mixed read and write workloads. Hot-pluggable design allows replacement without shutting down the server, maintaining availability during maintenance.
24 Gb/s SAS interface and ecosystem requirements
The SAS-4 based interface is capable of double the performance of 12 Gb/s SAS SSDs when paired with a 24 Gb/s controller and updated server infrastructure. Backward compatibility lets the drive operate in existing 12 Gb/s SAS environments.
