Dual Xeon 4410y Tower Server

The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 is a 4U tower server built for organisations that run virtualised workloads, databases or many simultaneous applications. It ships with two Xeon Silver 4410y processors, each providing 12 cores at 2.00 GHz with a 3.90 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 512 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory and 7.68 TB of enterprise SATA SSD storage. Windows Server 2022 Standard with a 16-core licence is also supplied.

Build integration and expansion

The chassis supports up to two processors and uses DDR5 memory, so future CPU or memory upgrades must match that generation. Four hot-swap drive bays are populated with 1.92 TB SATA SSDs, leaving additional bays open for extra capacity. An MR408i-o Gen11 storage controller with 4 GB cache manages the array, while an embedded four-port 1 GbE OCP3 adapter handles network connectivity. Redundant hot-swap power supplies allow a failed unit to be replaced without downtime. Hard drives and memory upgrades are included separately and require installation.

Bundled software and management impact

Windows Server 2022 Standard provides the operating system foundation for the 16 licensed cores, enabling immediate deployment of roles such as Hyper-V, Active Directory or file services. Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) Standard with Intelligent Provisioning gives remote console access, firmware updates and automated deployment from any location. Together, the OS licence and iLO 6 reduce the time needed to bring the server into production and simplify ongoing administration.
