This 2.5-inch drive targets read-intensive server workloads. It fits existing SATA bays and uses 3D NAND TLC with end-to-end data protection. AES 256-bit hardware encryption and power-loss protection secure data at rest and in flight.
960GB provides space for OS images, logs and warm data sets. Sequential reads reach 560 MBps and writes 510 MBps, while random reads hit 95,000 IOPS and writes 36,000 IOPS. The 2 DWPD rating and 3.4 PBW endurance suit steady read-heavy duty cycles.
Replacing 2.5-inch HDDs with this SSD cuts latency to 36 µs read and 37 µs write. MTBF of 2,000,000 hours and active power of 3.0W improve reliability and efficiency. The jump is worth it when legacy SATA infrastructure must stay but spinning disks bottleneck throughput.
