Universal drive adapter

The Jansicotek E19 connects any standard 2.5in or 3.5in SATA or IDE hard drive, plus 5.25in optical drives, to a host via USB 3.0. It includes a dual-head IDE connector with 40pin and 44pin ports alongside a SATA III connector. The adapter supports drives up to 6 TB and works with Windows XP through 11 and Mac OS 10.X.

Sustained transfer behaviour

USB 3.0 delivers up to 5 Gbps bandwidth and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. Three drives can be attached simultaneously through the IDE and SATA ports for concurrent data access. An on/off switch cuts power to attached drives during idle periods. LED indicators show power and activity status for each interface.

Thermals noise and power

The unit draws power from the USB connection and an included supply for 3.5in drives, with no active cooling or moving parts. Silent operation suits office or home recovery tasks. Plug-and-play setup requires no driver installation on supported operating systems.
