Each board features a RISC-V 32-bit single-core processor running up to 96MHz with 4MB of integrated flash memory. They target makers and engineers developing Thread, Zigbee 3.0 or BLE 5 connected devices who need a ready-to-code platform with pre-soldered headers.

Pre-soldered headers and castellated edges

Pre-soldered pin headers let you plug the boards straight into a breadboard or custom carrier without any iron work. The castellated module edges also allow direct surface-mount soldering onto a final PCB when the prototype moves to production. A USB Type-C connector supplies power and a serial console, so no separate FTDI adapter is required during bring-up.

4MB flash and 96MHz headroom

The 4MB flash holds the application firmware, protocol stacks and any OTA update partitions for Thread or Zigbee 3.0 networks. The 96MHz RISC-V core handles typical sensor polling, mesh routing and BLE 5 advertising with cycles to spare.
