Compact IP-KVM for remote operations

The MCDODO NanoKVM Cube is a 40x36x36mm RISC-V Linux development board that functions as an IP-KVM server. It captures 1080P 60fps video via HDMI input and presents USB 2.0 HID keyboard, mouse and touchpad emulation to the host. A 1GHz C906 CPU with 256MB DDR3 and 1TOPS NPU handles MJPEG and H264 encoding at 90–230ms latency over 100M Ethernet. The Full Kit includes TF card storage for USB mass-storage emulation.

Verify host outputs and network before ordering

Confirm the target machine provides an HDMI video source and a USB 2.0 port for HID passthrough. The board requires a wired 100M or 10M Ethernet connection; no wireless interface is present. Ensure your network infrastructure supports the 100M port for video and control traffic. A TF card is needed if you intend to use the virtual flash-drive feature.

Sustained 1080P streaming within thermal limits

Under continuous load the C906 processor maintains MJPEG or H264 encoding at 1080P 60fps with latency staying in the 90–230ms window. The 256MB DDR3 buffer and 1TOPS NPU absorb frame processing without throttling during extended remote sessions. The 100M Ethernet link remains the throughput ceiling, so prolonged high-motion content will saturate the link before the compute subsystem does.
