1.5TB DDR5-5600 ECC RDIMM kit

This 12-module kit delivers 1.5TB of DDR5-5600 registered ECC memory in 128GB 2Rx4 DIMMs. It is built for the ASRock Rack TURIND24QM3-2L2T/500W motherboard where full-slot population and error-correcting stability are required. The modules run at 1.1V with CL46 latency.

Upgrade from partial or mixed-capacity

The kit replaces incomplete or mismatched DIMM sets that force the memory controller to down-clock or limit total capacity. Populating all twelve slots with identical 2Rx4 registered modules lets the board operate at its rated DDR5-5600 speed and the full 1.5TB capacity. The jump is worth it when workloads need maximum addressable memory and single-bit error correction without throughput loss.

DDR5 RDIMM platform constraints

Registered DDR5 DIMMs require a motherboard designed for the 288-pin RDIMM form factor and registered signalling; they will not fit or function in UDIMM or SODIMM slots. The memory controller must support 2Rx4 organisation at the full 12-DIMM population to reach the rated speed and capacity. Mixing ranks, voltages, or DIMM types breaks the validated configuration and can prevent boot or reduce performance.
