Server memory kit

This 16GB kit contains two 8GB DDR4 3200 ECC registered DIMMs built for Thinkmate STX-WS-QS12-12E2 and STX-WS-QE36-14E2 systems. The modules run at 1.2V with CL22 latency and use a 1Rx8 organisation. They are intended for administrators who need validated capacity for Windows NAS or workstation workloads.

ECC and registered operation

Error-correcting code detects and corrects single-bit errors while the registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller. Together they improve data integrity and allow the platform to populate more slots than unbuffered memory would permit. No heat spreaders are included, so airflow across the bare PCB is required.

288-pin RDIMM form factor

Each module uses the standard 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM connector and fits only motherboards that accept registered ECC memory. The kit adds 16GB in a matched pair, leaving remaining slots available for future expansion. Systems that require unbuffered or non-ECC DIMMs cannot use this memory.
