High-density DDR5 ECC kit

This kit supplies 1TB of registered DDR5 memory across sixteen 64GB modules for Lenovo ThinkStation PX workstations. Each module runs at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency and 1.1V operation. ECC and 2Rx4 organisation protect data integrity in demanding server workloads. The 288-pin RDIMM form factor fits compatible DDR5 slots directly.

Build integration and slot planning

Sixteen modules occupy every available DIMM channel on supported ThinkStation PX boards, so no spare slots remain for later expansion. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing the full population without signal degradation. ECC RDIMM topology requires a workstation or server platform that explicitly supports registered memory; consumer desktop boards will not post with this kit.

Thermals and power profile

Modules operate at the standard DDR5 voltage of 1.1V and have no integrated heat spreader, relying on chassis airflow for cooling. Registered buffers add minimal overhead, keeping power draw predictable across the full 1TB array. In typical workstation workloads the kit runs within normal DDR5 thermal limits when the system provides adequate front-to-rear airflow.
