Eight ranks of 1Rx4 modules deliver 128GB total, allowing the supported Cisco servers to run larger virtualisation workloads and in-memory databases. Performance scales with the platform's maximum memory frequency of 2400 MT/s; workloads that demand higher throughput or lower latency than DDR4 2400 CL17 provides will not benefit from this kit.

Pre-validated module matching

Each 16GB DIMM is tested to match Cisco part numbers UCSMR1X161RVA and UCSMR1X161RVG, so the kit installs without manual qualification steps. The registered buffer and ECC function are verified for the target servers, eliminating compatibility guesswork. No heat spreaders are included, relying on the server's airflow design for thermal management.
