DDR4 2666 ECC SODIMM limits

The modules run at PC4-21300 speed and are backward compatible with 2400 MHz and 2133 MHz bus rates. ECC protection corrects single-bit errors but cannot prevent all data corruption scenarios. Unbuffered topology means the memory controller drives each rank directly, so total system capacity is constrained by the number of slots available in the NAS.

No heat spreader and 260-pin form factor

The bare green PCB fits the standard 260-pin SODIMM slot without extra height clearance concerns. Absence of a heat spreader keeps the profile thin for tight chassis spacing but offers no thermal buffer under sustained heavy load.
