This 8GB DDR3L ECC Registered RDIMM is built for HP ProLiant DL360e Gen8 DL360p Gen8 DL380p Gen8 DL385p Gen8 and DL580 Gen8 servers. It replaces HP part numbers 731765B21 and 735302001. It will not work in standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered memory. Buyers who need unbuffered DIMMs or desktop SO-DIMMs should look elsewhere.
The module runs at 1.35V DDR3L voltage which reduces power draw compared to standard 1.5V DDR3. No heat spreader is fitted so airflow across the PCB handles cooling. Registered buffering adds minimal latency at CL11 while maintaining signal integrity under sustained server workloads.
Installing this single 8GB stick increases total memory capacity for virtualization or database tasks. ECC protection corrects single-bit errors automatically improving data integrity. Registered signalling allows larger memory populations per channel than unbuffered alternatives. No software or drivers are required.
